Normal service resumed at Silverstone, with Toyota Gazoo Racing locking out the first two spots in Free Practice 2 for the 4 Hours of Silverstone.

The number 7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid of Mike Conway set a time of 1:36.847, eight-tenths of a second ahead of Kazuki Nakajima in the number 8 sister entry.

Despite topping FP1, Rebellion Racing trailed in third and fourth, with the Gustavo Menezes one second of the ultimate pace in the number 1 car, followed by the number 5 Team LNT Ginetta G60-LT-P1 AER after failing to set a time in FP1.

LMP2 was again lead by Paul Di Resta in the United Autosports Oreca 07 Gibson ahead of High Class Racing and Racing Team Nederland. The top three runners were all in three-tenths of a second.

The number 51 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo topped GTE-Pro in the hands of James Calado, but the Prancing Horse was split by Richard Lietz’s Porsche to take second position; one tenth off the pace and  two-tenths ahead of the 71 Ferrari.

Aston Martin again topped GTE-Am again, with both Vantage GTEs running one-two, but this time Robert Gunn setting the pace in the 98 factory entry heading the TF Sport squad.
