star  is set to leave Formula E to drive for the Chip Ganassi IndyCar team in 2019.

 

Rosenqvist was tight-lipped about his future at the final Formula E double-header in New York, with the 2015 European Formula Three champion and two-time Macau Grand Prix winner seeking to advance his career in the US after taking three Indy Lights victories with Belardi.

 

The departure of the super Swede will certainly mean Mahindra will need to replace at least one – if not two drivers if the the rumours surrounding Nick Heidfeld’s retirement are true.

 

Mahindra Racing’s Gen2 M5Electro car made its UK debut at the CarFest South Festival last weekend with development driver Sam Dejonghe at the wheel.

 

 

 

Testing for FOrmula E season 5 begins the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia on October 16 t ahead of the first race of the season on December 15.
