broke Toyota’s stranglehold in final practice for the by putting the 1 Rebellion R13 Gibson on the top of the timesheets, eight-tenths quicker than the Toyota TS050 Hybrid of Mike Conway and the sister Rebellion entry with young gun, Thomas Laurent at the wheel.

 

Despite running a second slower than the best time set by a Toyota all weekend, Jani’s time was still 1.7 seconds quicker than the rest of the non-hybrid runners.

 

Once again, neither of the Ginetta G60-LT-P1 Mecachromes headed out in final practice.

 

DragonSpeed Oreca 07 Gibson once again dominated the final session in the LMP2 class with Pastor Maldonado running two tenths quicker than Formula E Championship leader, Jean-Eric Vergne in the No. 26 G-Drive Racing Oreca.

 

Andy Priaulx took Ford Chip Ganassi to the top of LMGTE Pro ahead of the fast-improving BMW Team MTEK of Tom Blomqvist while Matt Campbell led a Proton Competition one-two in GTE-Am for Gulf Racing UK.
