topped the timesheets in opening practice for the Hong Kong ePrix, but stiff competition for the Jaguar entry of Mitch Evans.

Felix Rosenqvist would also come to grief with the barriers and was unable to continue, while Nicolas Prost recovered from an early technical issue to finish sixth.

After switching from WEC duties, Formula E Rookie’s Andre Lotterer, Kamui Kobayashi and Neel Jani had an early baptism in their new chosen Formula, finishing seventeenth, nineteenth and twentieth respectively.
