have taken delivery of the first Mecachrome turbo V6 engine, which will power the chassis which the team hopes to test in late November.

In the wake of a visit to the Mecachrome workshops in Aubigny-sur-Nère, France, Ginetta Technical Director Ewan Baldry decided the French engine supplier was the ideal partner to power its future prototype whose program is in the process of being finalized.

The Mecachrome engine is a direct injection version of the GP2 power-plant, remodelled to suit the unique demands of endurance racing.

The team will be pulling the covers off the brand new Ginetta LMP1 on our stand (6430) at 11am on Thursday 11th January. And if the G57 launch on January 2016 at the Autosport Show.
