have dominated Friday practice in Shanghai with the number 7 TS050 Hybrid showing Porsche a clean set of heels throughout the afternoon.


Despite a delayed start (due to communication problems) to Free Practice 1 for this weekend’s topped the timesheets in the number 7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid.


Conway headed the number 1 Porsche 919 Hybrid by two-tenths of a second, with and the number 2 Porsche ending the session third, one spot ahead of the sister Porsche.


The Toyota squad continued its form into second practice with the pair of Toyota TS050 Hybrids topping the final 90 minute session with  a 1:44.741 in the hands of Kamui Kobayashi. Kobayashi’s time was three-hundredths quicker than the sister entry of Kazuki Nakjima in second, with both Porsche’s half a second away.


Mathias Beche headed LMP2 in the number 13 Oreca 07 Gibson Vaillante Rebellion with a 1:52.533 and continued his form into FP2 to finish three tenths ahead of the number 38 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca of Oliver Jarvis.


 Stefan Muecke topped the GTE Pro order in the number 66 Ford GT, while GTE-Am was spear-headed by the 54 Spirit of Race Ferrari 488 GTE of Miguel Molina, who was eventually usurped by the number 77 Dempsey Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR in the second session.
