have announced that they will return to the FIA World Endurance Championship under the new Chinese name of CEFC Manor TRS Racing, the team announced on this Friday.

The deal marks the second year of involvement in WEC for China CEFC Energy Company Limited (CEFC), Baxi Ice Cream and TRS aswell as Manor WEC.

The team will race with two brand new ORECA 07 Gibsons, with Roberto Gonzalez put down for a full-season effort with Tor Graves listed in the second entry. It’s unknow who will race alongside them thus far.

Gonzalez competed in the last two rounds of the 2016 season with Manor. His teammates will be announced prior to the Prologue at Monza in April.

“We are really excited to be returning to the World Endurance Championship this year and we are particularly excited to be starting our long-term relationship with CEFC, TRS and Baxi,” said Manor Sporting Director Graeme Lowdon.

“We learnt so much in our inaugural year in sports car racing and we are now looking forward to taking on a very competitive field in for what will be our 28th year of racing.

“We can’t wait for the season to get underway and to start racing again” he adds.
